Half Crown Petanque Club Draft

12 novices from Lime Tree Village, Rugby, visited The Crown on 20th October and played a three round pairs competition against the Half Crown. The Half Crown won 14 of the 18 games, but there was some impressive boules from our visitors.

Garth Fletcher and Dave Hancox were the best team with three wins and +25, just 2 points ahead of John and Margaret Walker, and 5 points ahead of Bill Bentley and Mary Sturgess.

Everyone enjoyed the evening, especially as the rain held off, and we had a great hot buffet in The Crown to round the evening off.
