Half Crown win West Midlands Inter-Club Title

The Annual West Midlands Inter Club Competition was held at Stockton on Sunday, 27th March, in very pleasant playing conditions.
Five West Midlands clubs took part in a round robin of three pairs from each club. The Half Crown achieved 10 wins from their 12 games thereby retaining the title that they have won for the past three years.
Warwick were second with 6 wins, Coventry and Whitnash both had 5 wins and Solihull won just four games.
Two teams were unbeaten, both Half Crown pairs - Jerome Rousseau/Janet Kimpton with a +29 points difference and Ian Brittain/Garth Fletcher who had +25.
