Russelsheim Twinning a great success
News headlines
Seven members of the Half Crown Club travelled to Russelsheim in Germany for the August Bank Holiday weekend and had a great time eating, drinking and even playing some Petanque!
The Germans won the 'International' on Saturday afternoon by 9 games to 6, after lending us three players, including Ronny who paired up with Liz.
On the Sunday we all played in a mixed triples competition that lasted all day. Liz, John and Doris played well together and won the 'B' play off final.
In the evening we all went to a beer festival that ended the weekend in real style.
